About Grenit Construction
Grenit Construction CC was formed in 1986 as a construction and property development company. We are currently busy with a 34 000 m2 development in Honeydew called Honeypark Ext 13. This development is wholly owned by Wilgespruit Park (Pty) Ltd - ( a subsidiary company). Our specialty is commercial and high end new residences, although we also do select residential renovations.
- We have a permanent staff compliment of 25, who are hand picked for their workmanship and honesty.
- Guarantees offered on outside contracts are 5 years on structure and one year on workmanship.
- The company is run on a very strict accounting basis and owns all its own machinery and tools.
- Only specialized services such as steel erection are outsourced to be able to minimize costs to our clients, and maintain excellent workmanship.
- All materials and workmanship comply with SABS guidelines.
Our previous Managing Director Kenneth Nell (deceased) was on the team that built Sandton City, Carlton Centre, Hendrik Verwoerd dam, JG Strydom tunnel Etc. The current MD Gregory Nell has been with the company since inception, and has overseen all projects conducted by the company. He studied for a BBsc at UCT and Bba at Unisa. He was previously also MD of a national food wholesaling company.
We strive to uphold our Christian way of life, and through this guarantee honesty and integrity. We too abstain from the all too common practice of abusive language and disrespect amongst each other, breeding a pleasant and God glorifying work environment.
